Insurance We Accept

The Loft Dental Studio accepts most PPO dental insurance plans. Our office is staffed with experienced insurance coordinators who verify your benefits before any treatment begins, so you always know what to expect financially. We provide a detailed cost breakdown including your estimated insurance coverage, co-pays, and any remaining out-of-pocket balance before we proceed with any procedure.

We are not an HMO or DMO provider. PPO plans give you the freedom to choose your own specialist, and we strongly believe that patients deserve the right to select the provider they trust with their oral health.

• Implants (coverage varies): More insurance plans are adding implant coverage each year, though benefit levels vary widely. Some plans cover implants at 50%, while others may exclude them entirely

Most dental plans carry an annual maximum benefit, typically ranging from $1,500 to $2,500 per person per year. Periodontal treatment is usually covered as a basic or major procedure depending on your specific plan. Our insurance coordinators help you understand exactly where your treatment falls and how to use your remaining benefits strategically, especially toward the end of the calendar year when unused benefits expire.

Using Medical Insurance for Dental Procedures

• CareCredit financing: We are a CareCredit provider, offering flexible monthly payment plans with promotional 0% interest options available for qualified applicants. CareCredit allows you to break larger treatment costs into manageable monthly payments
• In-house payment plans: For larger treatment cases such as full-mouth reconstruction, All-on-4 implants, or comprehensive periodontal therapy, we offer customized in-house payment plans that allow you to spread your investment over time
• HSA and FSA accounts: Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts can be used toward dental treatment, including periodontal care, dental implants, and prosthodontic services. Using pre-tax dollars effectively reduces your overall treatment cost

No Insurance? No Problem

We welcome patients who do not carry dental insurance. Many of our patients choose to pay out of pocket and find that our fees for specialist-quality care are comparable to general dentist pricing throughout Orange County. When you see a board-certified periodontist or prosthodontist at The Loft Dental Studio, you receive a higher level of training and expertise without paying a premium for it.

For uninsured patients, we provide a detailed fee schedule during your consultation so there are no surprises. We are transparent about every cost associated with your treatment plan, from initial exams and imaging to the final restoration. Our team will also help you explore whether CareCredit financing or an in-house payment plan can make your treatment more affordable.
